Customization of Application

WHOOP subscriber here, though I’ve put it in the drawer and cancelled the recurring subscription, as I don’t see the positives outweighing the negatives in the current state. One feature I’d really appreciate is the ability to customize the dashboard and hide metrics that aren’t useful to individual users.

I personally find the strain and workout tracking extremely valuable, but the recovery/readiness scoring can frequently feel deterministic and frustrating. I’d love the option to:

  • hide certain metrics/cards,

  • prioritize long-term trends,

  • customize the home dashboard,

  • or create an “advanced user” view.

Experienced users/athletes often develop internal calibration and may want WHOOP to function more as an information tool than a readiness authority. Unfortunately, these metrics are in full color at the top of the application with no way to move them. The included AI suggests that I “ignore it”, but I believe it would be simple to ignore by allowing users to remove/hide it.

The hardware and activity tracking are excellent. More customization would make the platform significantly more flexible and user-friendly for experienced athletes and members.

I think there is a lot of space for further customization, including custom weighting of different metrics to calculate the scores, but Whoop’s current algorithm is a one-size-fits-all scheme, and it just isn’t for me. Thank you for considering my suggestion.
