# Battery not charging

Battery not charging

I purchased the WHOOP 5.0 about a month ago. I am surprised that the device has already developed a problem after such a short period of use.

The battery pack charges properly and shows a green light, but when it is connected to the sensor, the sensor does not charge.

I was struck by the number of people who have been experiencing this same or a similar problem with sensor charging, going back to the WHOOP 4.0

I’ve had my Whoop 5 for about 3 weeks and could only get it to charge 1 time with the wired charger after much fiddling with the device and charger. Now it is dead and no use to me. I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting requests from the customer care team, with nothing solving the problem. Seems charging problems are a frequent complaint. I am very disappointed in WHOOP - is it not ready for prime time? Seems like a basic quality issue that should be solved quickly.
