Hi there, I am experiencing the following:
Sometimes whoop does not write the Apple Watch notice (marked in red) in my whoop activities, for example a walk. Import from apple health to whoop is activated, export from whoop to apple health is disabled. Yesterday I was walking and activating the walk as an activity on Apple Watch without having my phone nearby. The sync afterwards was without any problems and the notice “via Apple Watch” can be seen in whoop app. Today I was doing the same thing, the only difference was that I took my iPhone with me. After the walk the GPS data from Apple Watch and start/end of activity was synced totally fine, but the notice “via Apple Watch” (marked in red) is missing. It seems that data is syncing just fine but the entry “via Apple Watch” is missing under certain circumstances. My wife, who is also using whoop 5.0 with similar settings was doing a walk as well, she started the activity manually from the start on Apple Watch without waiting for the auto detect feature from Apple Watch to confirm the activity on AW and she also took her iPhone and her whoop was showing the Apple Watch entry as it should.
I don’t get it. What is the reason that the notice is not shown in some walks on whoop, even if the activity is tracked with AW. Does it depend on having the iPhone connected during the walk or does it depend on auto detecting feature from Apple Watch? The gps data and start/end is always synced, but the Apple Watch notice does not appear sometimes. Please note that the auto detect feature for activities on my whoop is enabled.
Is there an explanation or setting to fix it?
Thx for your support
