App keeps forgetting menstruation data

Hello, is anyone else experiencing that the calender forgets the period? Like yesterday, on day 2, the app said I was still in luteal phase although I said that my period started.

Yesterday I forgot to tell the app that I still have my period so today the calender did not even try to show any guesses about my period as can be seen in the screenshot.

During period it would be nice when there is a tile on the dashboard to easily put in data.

And another question that occurs to me: why does the app say that there is a windows of 8 to 14 or so days between ovulation and period? As far as I know for healthy women it should be 14 day ± 1 or 2 days? The app should at least take all the collected data into account and change the forecast during usage. My cycle is quite regular about the length of luteal phase and often I give the date of ovulation that I get from another app using my basal temperature. So the app has all the nessessary data available. And other cycle apps ask for the regular length of luteal phase in the beginning and, I think, those apps suggest 14 days as avarage in case one does not know their personal value.
